Dolly Daydream 2.0

My tripod has been located, my studio cleared, and my blues are diminishing so I promise more full sized fashion posts coming soon!

Today however keeping it miniature... I just finished a big update of the Dolly Daydream site! It now has a retro new look and functionality, some new photo galleries, updated fashion doll customizing tutorial, and the long anticipated ball joint doll stringing tutorial. For anyone who is interested in making their own dolls, or just likes seeing fashion gone miniature I hope you'll check out the site.
Quick Blog Question!
Also as much as I love playing with dolls, I wasn't sure if all you lovely peeps in blog land felt the same way, so I've been trying to keep it to a minimum here on the Quaintrelle Life blog. I've been thinking about starting a new blog for the dolls, but wondered as long as the shoots, fashions and dolls fit with the vintage lifestyle and aesthetics, would they be something you'd all be interested in seeing more of on my blog here?

  1. I enjoy reading about the dolls here, from a marketing stand point you are introducing one fanbase to another and that will increase your overall exposure and clout. The things that make you unique are the things that bring people back to your blog.

  2. I'm so excited to discover your blog! I learned about it through a business card that was enclosed in an ebay package. Could it be that you are the same person that sold me a Spectra doll? (It was a birthday present and you wrapped it very nicely! Thank you!)

    1. Yes that's me! I was selling off a few duplicates from my own collection on ebay, but have a shop selling dolls and clothes too, so dropped in a few cards. I'm so glad the doll made it safe and sound and on time! I hope you and your daughter had a great time for her birthday, 10's kind of a big one!

  3. Shot in the dark but might as well try... I absolutely love your custom dolls, my favorite being the Marie Curie doll by far, in fact she’s the doll that actually got me into them and collecting and now I have over 100! She’s so absolutely beautiful and I’d love to recreate her, hopefully you see this and respond cause I’d love to get your permissions (and possibly help/advice) to recreate this beauty for my personal collection. Thank you!
